About Moot 4×4

Why the Name Moot?
We’ve got close links to our local area, and given that we’re based in Matlock, our name is a nod to the old English: Moot Oak.
This phrase, meaning ‘meet under the oak tree’ is where Matlock got its name, and since it’s home to our head office and manufacturing facility, it makes for the perfect name as the place where 4×4 enthusiasts come for their parts and accessories.
