Returns Policy

Returns / Warranty

You can within 28 days of receiving a product ordered from MOOT 4×4 Ltd, return goods that you do not require.

Any product returned must have a returns form enclosed so MOOT 4X4 Ltd can ascertain the reason of the return.

Please confirm your intent to return the goods or if you are having problems please email info@moot4x4.com with your name and full address 

All goods that are no longer required/ordered incorrectly must come back in their original packaging and in a re-sellable, clean (free of oil and grease), unfitted condition. Body components such as lamps, door mirrors etc must be returned fully bagged and boxed and must be devoid of any scratches or scuffs. Lenses and chrome must be covered/wrapped.

Please ensure goods are well packaged in a further outer box for extra protection. Please do not write on or damage any product packaging, as the product along with its packaging will need to be restocked ready for the next customer.

It is the customer’s responsibility to pack the return items in such a way that they will not be damaged or missing from parcels on the return journey. MOOT 4X4 Ltd reserve the right to reject any items returned, if the terms of our returns policy are not met.

We will give a refund for the parts only, not for delivery. After 14 days we reserve the right to charge a handling / restocking fee of 15%.

Items that can’t be returned

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Special Order Parts
  • Products damaged by the customer
  • Fitted or used products
  • Modified or painted products
  • Partial Kit items (only complete kit parts can be returned – not partial items)
  • Gift Vouchers

In some cases, we can arrange collection of goods, and charge a collection fee that is agreed by MOOT 4X4 Ltd and the customer – please contact us for details on info@moot4x4.com.

Defective or Faulty Goods

MOOT 4X4 Ltd will accept goods that are deemed faulty under a warranty claim for the full
warranty period after delivery. We must be notified of the failure as soon as possible, We will provide a warranty claim form that you will need to complete, that needs to be returned with the faulty unit. If the item is found to be faulty you will be entitled to a choice of an exchange or a full refund. Please note that warranty given by MOOT 4X4 Ltd will only cover parts. Labour charges and other costs are not covered.

MOOT 4X4 Ltd will meet the cost of return postage for defective goods, we can either arrange a courier to collect or refund your postage expenses (within reasonable limits) upon return.

Incorrect Goods Despatched

Occasionally the wrong item is sent to a customer. You are free to return these goods in new and unused condition for up to 28 days after delivery. However, we expect customers to check goods upon delivery, and if found to be incorrect to contact us as soon as possible. You will be entitled to your choice of an exchange for the correct item or a full refund. MOOT 4X4 Ltd will meet the cost of return postage for defective goods, we can either arrange a courier to collect or refund your postage expenses (within reasonable limits) upon return.

Refunds

When a refund is made, the payment will be made by the same method used on the original sale.

Refunds usually take 2-3 business days to appear on your statement.
